Building up Transnational Networks of Resource Centres / Meeting Places to
Strengthen the Role of Women in Local and Regional Development
Goals
Improved infrastructure and consensus partnership towards promotion the role of women in the society. Enhanced understanding how the authorities and organisations can support the role of women in regional and local development.
Aims
- transnational networks between resource centres for women in the BSR region have been established
- resource centres/meeting places for women established in each country
- raised knowledge of gender equality issues among women and policy making bodies
- improved infrastructure and consensus partnership towards promotion the role of women in the society
- transnational networks of between resource centres/meeting places and between women entrepreneurs
Participants and contact persons
All the seven countries: Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden
The WP leader is Lisbeth Holmqvist-Arbrant from Sweden. The WP responsibles are: Inge Lepp from Estonia, Annamari Asikainen from Finland, Irena Baraskina from Latvia, Zieduna Bieliniene from Lithuania, Annika Saanio from Norway and Joanna Kolesnik from Poland.
