Work Package 3 Mentoring

Mentorship program for female entrepreneurs

Goal:  Mentoring  will be a highly valued and appreciated tool among women entrepreneurs when developing and growing their businesses

Aims

  • business skills will  be improved
  • understanding and readiness for co-operation will rise
  • survival rate for “young” entrepreneurs will rise
  • new models, best practises, of especially group mentoring will be created
  • a special emphasis is put to developing group mentoring; group mentoring models suitable for different countries’ circumstances will be developed

Participants and contact persons

All the seven countries: Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden. The majority of countries have started group mentoring. Latvia has also pair mentoring. In Finland two regions participate mentoring: Kainuu and South-Ostrobothnia. Mentoring responsibles are Tarja Peitsaho from Kainuu and Pirjo Väisänen from South-Ostrobothnia.

The WP leader is Leena Heiskala from Finland. The WP responsibles are Sirje Vällman from Estonia, Baiba Rivza from Latvia, Jurate Puidiene from Lithuania, Inger Karin Larsen from Norway, Marta Hozer from Poland and Helena Balthammar from Sweden.
